Reusable Water Bottles For Homeless - TNG is collecting reusable sports water bottles for the homeless at the weekly Winter Park, Seminole, and Mt. Dora Chapter meetings. Michelle Dettlaff from Design4Dot.com is heading up this effort. The water bottles go to The Daily Bread which is the soup kitchen for Christian Services Center. Not everyone who comes through the doors for lunch are homeless, but a good percentage are. In years past, The Daily Bread has fed 200 - 300 individuals. This year the need has increased to 300 - 400 individuals.

The Mustard Seed - The Mustard Seed is the only free clothing & furniture bank in Central Florida. Its mission is to help rebuild the lives of families and individuals who have suffered disaster or personal tragedy by providing household furnishings and clothing. Please see The Mustard Seed or call 407-875-2040 x 15 to schedule a pick up or make a donation. Winter Park or Mt. Dora members may bring donations to your weekly meetings!

Lake Cares Food Pantry - Amid a slowing economy, Lake Cares Food Pantry has established itself as a strategic resource to support the needs of hungry families that have been hit by unforeseen and unfortunate circumstances. While all communities have been affected by the nation's economic crisis, Lake Cares Food pantry has seen a dramatic increase of clientele from an average of 15 to 20 families per Saturday to 35 to 45 families. Please see Lake Cares Food Pantry or call 352-383-0100 to make a donation or if you are interested in volunteering. Mt. Dora members may bring donations to your weekly meetings!
